Referring to the demand by Gregor Strasser, Fascist spokesman, in the Reichstag yesterday, that German life be rid of Jewish influences, Deputy Hoegener ironically remarked that Strasser spoke “somewhat restrainedly on the Jewish question, but perhaps it was under the influence of Lord Rothermere. Outside of the Reichstag, however, the National Socialists still continue their furious anti-Jewish incitement which is damaging German credit abroad”.
