Anti-Semitism doesn’t pay is the advice given to the Hungarian statesmen by the London “Daily Express” in an editorial on the Jewish situation in Hungary.

“Britain’s title to statesmanship surpassing all others is due to the fact that she made peace with the Jews generations ago. She has been abundantly repaid by Jewish loyalty and enterprise in the fabric of British life.” the paper writes.

“Britain is a powerful, secure nation, Hungary a weak, threatened nation. Therefore, it is doubly foolish for Hungary, encompassed by ill wishers, to add the antagonism of the Jews to her difficulties,” the “Daily Express declares.
