Anti-semitism Injected into Case of Ousted West Point Cadets

Members of Congress have been informed of the injection of anti-Semitism into the issue involving the action taken against 90 West Point cadets who were accused of cheating.

Robert Daru, counsel to the committee on justice of the New York Criminal and Civil Courts Bar Assn., reported that “a well-known person” said the case had “the markings of a minor Dreyfus affair. “

“As a result, ” Mr. Daru said, “an unfounded rumor has spread that there was a large number of young men of the Jewish faith among the 90. This is untrue. There was one lad, possibly two, of the Jewish faith among the group. “
