The National Democrats (Endeks) and Christian Socialists, today engaged in a battle of mutual recriminations following the split in the bloc which may precipitate calling of new elections.

The two factions split, it was learned today, on the question of anti-Semitism. The Christian Socialists, in a statement today, declared that while they were willing to support an anti-Jewish program, they would do so only if the program “does not transgress Christian ethics but never will we support foolish anti-Semitic rowdyism.”
