Miss Sophie Killian of Syracuse has been appointed director of clubs of the Young Men’s and Young Women’s Hebrew Associations, it was announced today by Lester S. Levy, president of the local organization. She will assume her new duties in September.
Miss Killain has been associated with many Jewish activities in upper New York, having served as director of the youth division of the Syracuse Jewish Community, Center during the past three years. She also is a past vice-president and member of the board of Junior Hadassah.
