Approximately 100 settler families reportedly have applied for relocation packages under Ariel Sharon’s disengagement plan. Ha’aretz said Wednesday that the families had contacted Israeli government representatives about payouts of between $200,000 and $500,000 that could begin as early as next week for settlers who voluntarily leave the Gaza Strip or four West Bank communities.
