Arab Agitators Say They Won’t Accept Currency with Hebrew Inscription

Arab anti-Zionist agitators will refuse to accept Palestine currency and banknotes bearing Hebrew inscriptions, according to a report published by the Arab newspaper, “Assiassa”. The newspaper reports that an Arab delegation told the government that the Arabs do not wish to accept banknote with Hebrew inscriptions.

The government representative is said to have replied that the ordinance promulgated by the government, providing that the new Palestinian carrency be inscribed in Hebrew. Arabic and English, includes a penalty for refusal to accept it.
