Ahmed Tapisch, Arab brigand leader of Safed, accused of the murder of Isaac Mamaan, was sentenced today to fifteen years in prison by the Haifa court of assizes on a charge of being implicated in the murder of Hannah Cohe. Tapisch, who had been sought for many weeks, was finally captured in Transjordania and extradited to Palestine.
