The Arab cities of Lydda, Acre and Ramleh, occupied by Israeli troops, will have a new form of municipal government, it was announced here last night.
Local municipal committees will be composed equally of representatives of the local Arab population and Israeli officials. The committees will be headed by the military governors of the respective towns. They will replace the former Arab municipal corporations.
