The Arab delegations in Amman, which have gathered to confer with King Hussein of Hedjas over the proposed Anglo-Arab treaty, have elected a committee of two members from each country represented in the conference. This committee will discuss the treaty with King Hussein.
Internal troubles, it is reported, continue to give Hussein much concern, the Extremist partisans creating considerable disturbance with their repeated reiteration of the charge that the Moderates have sold out to the Zionists.
Hussein yesterday received a delegation of Moderate Party Arabs from Jerusalem to whom he delivered this message, “May God lead you in the proper way.” Emir Abdullah, Hussein’s son, is influencing the Arab delegations in the question of the Caliphate, so that when the matter comes up for decision they will favor the Hedjas family.
