Arab Disorders Continue; Soldiers Constantly Under Arms

BRITISH SOLDIERS WERE ORDERED TODAY NOT TO LEAVE CAMP UNARMED AND FORBIDDEN TO PATRONIZE ENTERTAINMENT PLACES IN SOME TOWNS AS ARAB DISORDERS CONTINUED IN VARIOUS PARTS OF PALESTINE.

AT HEBRON, AN ARAB AND A BOY WERE SERIOUSLY WOUNDED WHILE FILLING A BOMB WHICH EXPLODED PREMATURELY. A JEWISH CAR WAS SHOT AT NEAR BENYAMINA AND THE OWNER WOUNDED. THIRTY-FIVE HEAD OF CATTLE WERE STOLEN BY AN ARAB BAND AT SEISSIL, NEAR HEBRON.

A PUNITIVE POLICE POST OF 20 HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED AT THE ARAB VILLAGE OF SILWAN IN CONNECTION WITH THE ATTACK ON TROOPS SEARCHING FOR THE SLAYERS OF TWO BRITISH SOLDIERS AND DISCOVERY OF MUNITIONS IN THE VILLAGE.

AN ARAB ARRESTED FOR OPPOSING POLICE AND THREATENING THEM WITH A REVOLVER DURING THE SEARCH OF THE OUTLAWED ARAB SUPREME COMMITTEE’S PREMISES WAS ACQUITTED IN COURT TODAY.
