An appeal to the Arab public made here today states that 400 persons in Safed are on the verge of starvation since the supporting members of their families were imprisoned for activity in the riots of 1929. The Arab Executive, whose neglect is blamed for the condition of these people, has decided to distribute among Hebron and Safed families 92 pounds (about $460) collected in Tul Karem and Nablus.
