The recent announcement that the Palestine government is prepared to grant concessions in the near future for the exploitation of the minerals in the Dead Sea has called forth the objection of the anti-Zionist Arab Executive in Jerusalem. In a memorandum submitted to Lord Plumer, the High Commissioner, the Arab Executive demands that the Palestine government should not grant the concession for the Dead Sea to private concerns but should itself undertake the exploitation for the benefit of the entire population.
