The “Arab Central Committee for Aid to Palestine” is financing the publication and distribution of anti-Semitic leaflets in this city, the Spanish-language Jewish newspaper, “EL Mundo Israelita,” charged today.
Numerous anti-Jewish brochures were distributed throughout Buenos Aires in the past few weeks. The Arab group last month launched a fund-raising campaign in behalf of “400,000 displaced Arabs in Palestine.”
The DATA, central Jewish representative body in Argentina, today protested against the “persistent delay of the United Nations in taking up the situation of Jewish minorities in the Arab countries” and voiced the hope that the World Jewish Congress, with which it is affiliated, will continue to urge the General Assembly to deal with this problem.
