Two Arab infiltrators were killed last night by an Israeli Army border patrol on the Israeli side of the Gaza Strip border. According to the Army spokesman, the men were caught dismantling irrigation pipes and attempted to escape after warning shots were fired by the patrol.

Near the site of the incident, the members of the patrol found a camel apparently belonging to the Arabs, and a British mile. Footprints were traced leading from the Egyptian side of the border to the site of the incident.

Three Lebanese fishermen were sentenced today to two-year prison terns for illegal fishing within Israeli territorial waters. The fishermen were captured while they were using explosives for fishing, a practice contrary to Israel law.
