Wendell L. Willkie, during his visit to Palestine last Friday, had a lengthy conference with Miss Henrietta Szold, the leader of the Hadassah, and sought her opinion on a number of questions concerning Arab-Jewish relations, it was disclosed here today. Mr. Willkie also saw the Arab leader Auni Bey Abdul Hadi and discussed the same questions with him.

It is understood that Willkie in his conversations with Miss Szold and the Arab leader pointed out to them that among the problems which the United States will be interested in solving after the war, will be the problem of Palestine and a rapprochement between Jews and Arabs there.

Willkie also visited Dr. J. L. Magnes, president of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and received Mosho Shertok, head of the American Consulate here.
