Israel sources said today that the resolutions on Palestine adopted at the current meeting of the Council of the Arab League in Cairo were the “mildest” since the State of Israel was proclaimed.
According to reports reaching here, the Council failed for the first time to demand repatriation of Arab refugees but, instead, called “the attention of the United Nations to the plight of the Palestine refugees.” Another portion of the Palestine resolution merely claimed that “Israel’s attempts to solve the (Palestine) problem by force is a factor creating unrest in the Middle East.”
