German reparations to Israel were discussed at a meeting of the Arab League Economic Council in Cairo today. The meeting also discussed other subjects pertaining to economic warfare against Israel, a dispatch from Cairo says.
The Arab League council also took up the questions of establishing an Arab shipping company, a new economic committee for the Near East with German participation, and construction of an international road between the Mediterranean Sea and the Persia Gulf.
