The economic council of the Arab League convened in Cairo today to consider a report on the anti-Israel boycott and to discuss Israel’s agreement for reparations from West Germany, the Beirut radio reports.
The Arab rulers are reported “enraged” by the failure of their representations to West Germany to halt reparations payments to the Jewish state, the broadcast stated. The Arab League, it is understood here, is preparing to increase its pressure on the West German Federal Republic, possibly using commercial blackmail.
