The Ethiopian Ambassador to Egypt, Ato Kiffle, was rebuffed today when he called on Arab League Secretary General Abdel Hassouna to explain Ethiopia’s full recognition of Israel, it was reported here today from Cairo.
The Ethiopian envoy said he hoped the recognition would not impair Ethiopia’s relations with the Arab League. Hassouna replied coldly that “the member states and myself deeply regret the recognition.”
