A new Arab League propaganda office has been opened in Argentina, under the direction of Issa Nakhla, a Palestinian emigre now living in Buenos Aires, it was reported here today. Nakhla cooperated with the former Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin Al Husseini, during the Palestinian war. He left New York recently to take up his new duties in Argentina.
The Arab propaganda office in Buenos Aires will be directly responsible to Arab League headquarters in Cairo, but will coordinate its activities with the Arab League Information Center in New York. The Arab office in Argentina is one of a number of new propaganda centers scheduled to be opened in the near future in Geneva, London, Bonn, Ankara, Rio de Janeiro and New Delhi.
