Emil Ludwig, the noted German author now visiting Palestine, categorically denied the statement attributed to him by the Arabic press that he favored a Palestine parliament. According to the story in the Arabic newspapers, Ludwig had declared himself in favor of a parliament in the course of a conversation with the Grand Mufti. The story had been reprinted in the American papers.
