The Arab Office here today issued a denial of Dr. Goldmann’s assertion yesterday that moderate Arab leaders were ready to consider a partition scheme, if “they knew they had to accept a compromise.” At the Jewish Agency office, a spokesman, referring to the Arab denial, declared that the names of the Arabs who were agreeable to partition are known by the British and American Governments.
