SKEPTICISM AS TO ITALY’S SINCERITY IN HER LATELY ASSUMED ROLE AS THE EUROPEAN FRIEND OF THE MOSLEMS WAS EXPRESSED TODAY IN THE CHRISTIAN ARAB NEWSPAPER FALASTIN.
COMMENTING ON THE RECENT BROADCAST FROM THE BARI RADIO STATION, IN WHICH ITALY PROMISED TO BRING ARAB CLAIMS BEFORE THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS MANDATES COMMISSION, FALASTIN SAID:
“THE CRITERION OF ITALY’S FRIENDSHIP WOULD BE HER PARTICIPATION IN ACTION IN THE MANDATES COMMISSION IN BEHALF OF THE MOSLEM WORLD.”
