A royal decree issued by King Abdullah of Transjordan yesterday announced that the Arab part of Palestine, including the Old City of Jerusalem, will formally be incorporated into Transjordan on Dec. 16, Renters reported here today.
It was also reported that the Transjordan Minister of Defense has arrived in the Old City of Jerusalem to make arrangements for ending the present military administration which rules in areas of Palestine under Arab Legion control. The post of Governor-General of occupied Palestine will be abolished on Dec. 16, according to the royal decree.
