The proposed Arab demonstration against the influx of Jews into Palestine has been postponed until Jan. 17, owing to a mistake in the lunar calculations in the end of the Ramadan, forty day Mohammedan fast. The demonstration was originally scheduled for Jan. 16.
The Arab Executive is carrying on extensive preparations for the protest. Country-wide routes for the demonstration parade have been fixed with the consent of the Palestine government officials. The largest demonstration will take place at Tulkarem. In the Jerusalem area the Grand Mufti will head the demonstration owing to the illness of Muza Kazim Pasha.
