The Arab states will take the Palestine issue to the United Nations following the failure of the London Conference on Palestine, Abdul Rahman Azzam Bey, secretary-general of the Arab League, declared here today at a press conference.
He revealed that the League had been contemplating such action prior to the calling of the London parley. Azzan Bey reiterated that the Arab states will reject any proposal leading to partition. He insisted that the Arab states will never accede to further Jewish immigration to Palestine and that they will never recognize the Palestinian citizenship of those Jews who entered the Holy Land after 1939.
