Arab Women Appeal to “munich Powers”

A Pan-Arab Women’s Congress tonight addressed an appeal to the four “Munich powers” to solve the Palestine problem as they had settled the Sudeten crisis — by turning over the country to the people in the majority there. The 500 women attending the congress decided to send copies of the resolution to the League of Nations, Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, President Roosevelt and the heads of other states. Other resolutions called for stopping of Jewish immigration into Palestine, a political amnesty for all Arabs imprisioned, a Moslem “holy war” to win Palestine for the Arabs and a boycott of Jews in all Arab countries.
