The Arabic newspaper, “El Carmel,” complains that the present Arab policy is turning the country into a hospital and a home for the aged since donations for the riot sufferers do not reach the victims but are spent on ne’er-do-wells. The paper says that the Mufti should provide work to assist industry and not fritter capital away.
