Police were called to break up a disturbance yesterday in Golden Gate Park when about 100 Arabs tried to disrupt an Israel Independence Day celebration. The Arabs marched into the area where 1,500 were celebrating the occasion, carrying anti-Israel placards. Some of the irate Jews tore the placards away from them and destroyed them. A police detail separated the two groups and ended the melee.
