A mother and two of her five children were killed after midnight by Jordanian marauders who hurled a hand grenade through the window of a home in a Jewish village in the Lydda area, it was announced here this morning. The same gang attacked a bus in the area at about 2 A. M.
The murdered woman and children were Suzanne Kanyas, the mother, one-year-old Benjamin and four-year-old Shoshana. Three other children, asleep in another room, escaped injury. The father was away on a job near Beersheba. The Israel Government has demanded an emergency meeting of the Israel-Jordan Mixed Armistice Commission to act on this latest outrage.
