Recent Arab allegations that Mexican Jews and “Zionists” were sending millions of dollars out of the country to Israel for “aggression against the Arab people” were denied by Rolando Vega, president of the Mexican Bankers Association. Mr. Vega made no references to the charge by the Arabs and by local anti-Semitic student groups. He declared at a meeting of the association in Acapulco that there was “no escape of dollars or other foreign currency from Mexico.”
