A memorandum demanding the promulgation of a law prohibiting Jews absolutely from buying any more land in Palestine has been submitted to the High Commissioner by the Palestine Arab Executive, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learns.
The Arab Executive complains in the memorandum that the Palestine Government is helping Jews to acquire land in Palestine, at the same time that it is constantly declaring that there is not sufficient land in Palestine for all its inhabitants.
The Arab Executive is firmly convinced, the memorandum says, that the Palestine Government is under Zionist influence.
The Arab Executive, it announces in conclusion, is taking steps to proclaim an inhibition shortly, preventing any Arab selling his land to Jews.
