Israel today invited Arabs from Egypt and other Arab countries to spend their vacation in Israel next summer. The bid was extended by Arye Eilan, Israel’s trusteeship committee representative, in replying to attacks voiced against Israel during the past few days by Arabs in the context of discussions on Rhodesia. Calling the committees attention to news reports that 15,000 Arabs from neighboring states spent summer vacations in Israel this year, Mr. Eilan said: “Perhaps representatives of Egypt and the other Arab states will, like so many of their compatriots, spend their next summer vacation in Israel and come to realize that the Arabs of Egypt and other nations have a long way to go before realizing the freedom enjoyed by Israel’s Arabs.
