A Moslem International Office will be established at Geneva to strengthen friendly relations between Islamic nations themselves and between them and western countries, it is reported in the Arab newspaper Al Ahram.

The report, dated from Geneva, suggests that the proposed body will act as a liaison between the East and the West. It will be under the supervision of the League of Nations, according to Al Ahram. Sponsor of the proposal is the newspaper Minbar el Shark.

The Geneva correspondent of the Manchester Guardian is reported from London to be of the opinion that the project is backed by leaders of countries which were under Turkish rule before the war and who are disgruntled over their post-war mandatory statute.
