Seven Arabs armed with tommyguns invaded the settlement of Kfar Ganim, near Petach Tikvah, during the night and attacked two houses, wounding several Jews. The attackers attempted to kidnap the Jews, but were driven off by guards from the neighboring settlement of Givat Hashlosha. There have been other attacks by Arab bands in the neighborhood within the last two months.

The Stern Group last night distributed announcements to the press declaring that the Bergson groups — the American League for a Free Palestine, the Hebrew Committee for National Liberation and their affiliates — did not speak for the Sternists or the Jewish people.
