High Commissioner Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope today received Arab leaders, continuing his discussions with them on the composition of the Arab delegation which has been invited by Colonial Secretary J. H. Thomas to confer with him in London on the proposed legislative council for Palestine.
The Arabs are understood to have demanded that the delegation number nine persons, whereas the original invitation specified it be confined to six. Efforts of the Arabs to select six leaders for the London conference have thus far met with failure.
