The Arabs throughout the Middle East are united in their opposition to any alteration in the Palestine White Paper which would ease restrictions on Jewish immigration and development, according to Capt, Henry Longhurst, Conservative M. P., writing in the Sunday Observer.
Capt, Longhurst, who has just returned from a tour of the Middle East, asserts that “without exception all (Arabs) say that one certain way to ensure Arab unity against Britain is to go back on the White Paper.” He emphasises that “no one who recently has travelled among them could doubt the complete unanimity of this attitude or that they mean business.”
