The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Boston was honored tonight by B’nai B’rith here as “man of the year.” The citation was presented at a brotherhood dinner attended by 1,000 persons in the Lowell Hebrew Community Center.
Archbishop Richard J. Cushing was cited for “a lifetime of distinguished service to the cause of human brotherhood under God and in further recognition of great leadership in the fields of education and community relations.”
