The ban on kashruth recently imposed in the province of Entre Rios in the Argentine has been removed and some of the Jewish schools which were closed in this area have now been reopened, it was reported today by the Inter-American Jewish Council, the chairman of which is Dr. Stephen S. Wise, on the basis of authoritative information.

The report also reveals that anti-Jewish agitation in the province of Entre Rios is being aided by the clergy, many of whom are of German descent. The informant of the Inter-American Jewish Council confirms the issuance of a general decree with respect to denaturalization, but indicates that Alberto Gerchunoff, distinguished Argentine publicist, is not being subjected to such action, as was previously reported.
