Some 5,000 gift-parcels will be shipped by the Argentine B’nai B’rith to members of Israel’s women’s army units, it was announced here today by Dr. Mario Schteingart, president of the organization. The announcement was made at a reception for Gad Frumkin, former Palestine Supreme Court Justice who is visiting in this country.
Meanwhile, members of a Histadrut delegation to Argentina have issued a call for Argentine chalutzim to come to Israel. The call pointed out that beside money, food and other items, the Jewish state has need of trained young Jewish workers.
