The importance of unification of the “diverse parts” of the Jewish people to help end differences between Jews and Zionists as well as differences internationally among the Zionist parties was stressed today by Herzl Gesang, chairman of the Latin American Confederation of General Zionists.
Speaking at an extraordinary convention of the Argentine General Zionists, he said such unification was essential to preventing Israeli party problems from affecting Jewish life outside of Israel. However, he projected Israel as a spiritual center for all Jews. The delegates elected Oscar Glaserman as chairman of the Argentine General Zionists.
