The local office of the Jewish Agency here has issued a call to Argentine Jewish physicians to settle in Israel. The appeal says that specialists in psychiatry, pathology, tuberculosis, pediatrics, bacteriology, orthopedics and pectoral surgery are urgently needed.
At the same time, the Israel consulate here informed Jewish youths who wish to settle in Israel and work as sailors or fishermen, that they can register for training at the nautical schools of the Israel Maritime League. In this connection, N. Tamir, a Mapai delegate from Israel who recently arrived here, said that one of the chief purposes of his visit to Argentina is to stimulate greater immigration of Zionist youth pioneers from this country to Israel.
