The DAIA, the representative organization of Argentine Jewry, appealed today to all Jewish institutions and individuals to contribute generously to alleviate the sufferings of the victims of the recent heavy floods in the northeastern part of the country. The Buenos Aires Kehilla immediately sent a shipment of 1, 000 blankets to help the evacuees of the stricken areas.

Meanwhile, a shipment of 450 pounds of medical supplies arrived here by air today from Tel Aviv as a contribution by the Israel Government to aid the Argentine flood victims. The shipment included vitamins, antibiotics, anti-yellow fever vaccine and anti-snake serum.
