Alberto Gerschunov, the well-known Jewish writer and editor of La Nacion, largest newspaper in the Argentine, was among those who accompanied President Justo on his recent visit to Brazil.
Gerschunov is considered one of the best Spanish stylists. His first book was “Gauchos Judios”, a collection of short stories depicting the life of Jewish farmers in the Argentine. Following a number of attacks upon him for his Jewishness, Gerschunov has become active in Jewish affairs. During his stay here he gave a number of interviews on Jewish questions.
