The Union of Jewish Writers, at a conference today, expressed solidarity with the published protest of the Union of Jewish Journalists in Poland against the Warsaw District Court’s blaming of the Jewish people and press for the killing of a Polish soldier by a Jew.
Publication of the protest in Polish Jewish papers caused their confiscation on Wednesday. The court had indicted the Jewish press and people of Poland in sentencing the slayer, Judah Leib Chatzkelewicz, to death.
