Representatives of all the leading Jewish organizations in this country, headed by DAIA, central Jewish organization of Argentinian Jewry, had an audience with President Aramburu today and asked him that the government admit expelled Egyptian Jews just as it recently opened its doors to Hungarian refugees. The President told the delegation that, as a result of the visit, he understands the problem fully.

Other subjects discussed between the delegation and the President was support for freedom of passage for Israeli shipping through the Gulf of Akaba and the Suez Canal, and the hope that Argentina will make its influence felt in the United Nations on behalf of ending Egyptian belligerence.
