Resolutions expressing support of the Palestine Jewish Community in its present crisis, calling for the immediate admission of 100,000 Jews to Palestine, and thanking the Argentine Government for its pledge to support the Jewish cause at the United Nations, were adopted here last night at a mass meeting sponsored jointly by the DAIA, central representative body of Argentine Jewry, the Zionist Central Council and the local office of the Jewish Agency.
The meeting condemned Foreign Minister Bevin’s latest proposal for the solution of the Palestine problem and urged Jewish representation at the U.N. on all matters affecting Palestine. It also thanked Christian members of the Argentine pro-Palestine Committee for their assistance to the Zionist cause and expressed friendliness toward the Arabs in Palestine.
