Activities aimed at the glorification of dead Nazi and Fascist leaders are being carried on by the Argentine Martin Fierro organization with the direct aid of government authorities, Julio Busaniche, Radical Party representative for the Province of Sante Fe, charged in a speech in the Chamber of Deputies.
Busaniche declared that the organization is now circulating a booklet throughout the Santa Fe Province in which tribute is paid to the Mussolini March on Rome in 1923. A Nazi swastika is designed on the front cover, Busaniche said. Part of the text reads as follows:
“The Martin Fierro Organization pays tribute to the Fascist March on Rome and to the memory of the heroes of Nuremburg. The organization is proud to have violated the Chapultepec Agreement and the San Francisco Charter, which are instruments of international Jewry.”
The booklet also contains speeches made by local government authorities. Zenon Echenique, an official of the Provincial treasury, is quoted as declaring that the Nazi leaders condemned at Nuremburg “are successors of the Teutonic crusaders who fought for the Holy Land.”
