A monument to Baron de Hirsch, founder of the Jewish Colonization Association which has settled thousands of Jewish families in South America, will be erected at Bahia Blanca, Argentine, the Ica headquarters here were informed.
The monument is being erected by the hehillah of Bahia Blanca with funds raised through popular subscription. The unveiling of the monument will take place at the celebration of the town’s one hundredth anniversary.
